Skin cancer is the easiest cancer to detect and treat but it still kills 1,200 Australians every year. Skin Alert Skin Cancer Clinics are a new concept in the detection and treatment of skin cancer. We have a position available at our Tweed Heads South clinic and are seeking to appoint an enrolled or registered nurse on a casual basis. Your duties will include assisting in minor procedures, wound management and preparing pathology samples so experience in this area is essential. Previous experience in the skin cancer industry will be highly regarded, but not necessary as training will be provided. The suitable applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and accommodate a flexible daytime roster. A key component of this role is communication and it is imperative that we appoint a person who has an excellent manner and can display initiative and maturity at all times. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key selection criteria: * Well-developed communication skills * Be friendly and enthusiastic * Possess positive customer service skills This position is available now and applications are requested as soon as possible.
