Description:
Responsible for the care of adults and adolescents in the Rainbow Center by assisting with pre/post-test counseling, managing and scheduling patients for specialty and research care, identifying and updating CDC HIV/AIDS classification, HIV/AIDS reporting, facilitating referrals, education of patient, family and staff, facilitating patient support groups, and maintaining open communication with providers. Utilizes the nursing process as a basis for providing and evaluating nursing care. Applies knowledge of growth and development, pathophysiology and family dynamics in delivery of care. Provide nursing, but not limited to care/treatments specific to HIV population, to include venipuncture and labs, wound care, PAP smears, etc.
Licensed RN or LPN in the State of Florida.
Minimum two years RN clinical experience. BCL certification required.
Venipuncture experience required.
HIV experience preferred.
Compensation:
$46,183.66 - $73,893.86 Annually
